Marking text piece in Pages
when marking a word or section in Pages I can't get a color over it so it stands out. Doesn’t matter what color I select in system preferences. This is on a MacBook Air 2018.

The selection color in Pages when you drag over text is governed by the System Settings > Appearance > Highlight color. What you see is what you get as these are not intended to be more vivid than as seen in Pages. Even if you pick Other and set it to vivid red at full opacity, the color you see in Pages is more pink than red.
You can send feedback directly to the Pages product team from the Pages application menu. No product teams participate here.
It certainly is not invisible in my Pages v14.3 on Sequoia v15.2. Faint, but usable.
Thanks. Yes, I know. Problem is that it doesn't matter much which color I try to use, it's more or less invisible in Pages, and also actually invisible in the little preview field inside the settings.
I had to find another screen profile to get it back. Faint…
Now it is usable.
Thanks for you help!
