Like the text messages I received recently from "U.S. Post" claiming that a USPS package couldn't be delivered because of an incorrect Zip code.
The scammers wanted me to click a link to "confirm the zip code address information". Funny how they weren't able to figure out my Zip code, but were able to figure out my cell phone number. And they sent their messages from a number with a "+63" prefix. That's the country code for the Philippines. Everyone knows that that USPS refers to themselves as "U.S. Post" instead of "U.S. Postal Service", and that they send their messages from the Philippines, right?

You can't remove what doesn't exist. You don't have viruses. As noted, it's likely that the message you received was an attempt to either trick you into giving someone (not your carrier) personal information or buying needless software.
Delete the message and move on.

As IdrisSeabright stated, this message is a scam.
The scammer that send that probably wants to profit from some sketchy (and unnecessary) “security” app they want you to install, and the “security” app itself probably then collects and resells your network metadata.
Any message referred to “virus” or “hacker” is best assumed to be an advertisement, or entertainment, or a scammer, until proven otherwise.
Here are some of the many scams:

What makes you think your iPhone has viruses? That is likely a phishing message, do not interact with the message and move on.
The odds of your iPhone being hacked is very slim, nearly impossible. The only way being jail breaking, in which you would need to physically give someone your iPhone for some time.
Sounds like you received a message from a scammer – not from your carrier.

IdrisSeabright is correct. Your carrier would never send such a message like that.

The big one in my area is one claiming that I have I have an outstanding balance with EasyPass in my state. If I log in through the state's EasyPass website, there's a big warning about it. Lately, the scammers have been sending a screenshot, telling people to type the website listed into their browser. They are trying very hard to get around the advice to never click on any strange links.

No I did not request anything from my carrier. I just received the notice. Thank you very much. I will not worry about it anymore
You’re a monthly subscriber of Verizon Digital Secure or Digital Secure +, is that correct?
