Deleting Time Machine local snapshots M1 OS 14.7.1

Things are different if you are on Apple Silicon. The part to list your local TM Backups works but deletes nothing ( as expected.) The second part will not work as the Sudo command has been retired. I spoke with Apple Tech Support and this is the solution they gave me. As strange as it looks it worked. It will DELETE ALL OF YOUR LOCAL SNAPSHOTS, however, so only use the following if you are ok with that.

For M1 Macs just to list your local snapshots ( from Heretostay59 ) Just lists local B-ups

tmutil listlocalsnapshots /

To Delete ALL local TM back-upd use.

tmutil thinlocalsnapshots / 999999999999999 4

Reboot your machine and run the same command and there should be No MORE BACK-UPS LISTED.

Check your internal storage and you should see some space freed up.

I hope this helps someone. I was going insane trying to get the intel ne to work.
