Safari and Mail display problems.

Over the past few weeks I've started having a problem with Safari, Mail, and the Terminal application. I'm running Sequoia 15.1.1. It's very strange. I've tried clearing caches, turning off extensions, removing software, but nothing seems to help. The symptoms are as follows:

1) Safari stops displaying all webpages, even static html files with only "<html><body>Hello</body></html>". It just repeats over and over "this webpage was reloaded because a problem occurred." It happens on every web page.

a) I can't even show the web inspector pane, no display

b) I can restart Safari, no change

c) I can log out/log in, no change

d) I tried the developer tools to monitor system calls, and console logs, nothing useful

2) Mail (once restarted) stops displaying all messages.

3) Terminal windows freeze if you hit "tab" for a tab completion and never return.

Other browsers continue to work OK. It's just Safari.

If I boot into safe-mode, it doesn't seem to happen.

If I reboot normally, after a day or so, it starts again.

The only way I've found that "fixes" it is to reboot, but then in a day or so, it happens again.

I'm at my wits end! What am I missing? I'm sure it must be something I've installed, but I'm struggling to identify what it is. Suggestions?

Thanks,

-steve
