I had a battery replacement last week and some updates this week. Now I discover that my internal mic is not seen . When I go to sounds there is nothing internal or external mic. Could someone pls help

It is possible the tech forgot to reattach the internal microphone cable during the battery replacement. Most Apple laptops require having all internal components removed for a battery replacement. Apple's internal design layout is horrendous with cables everywhere making it very difficult to reinstall the Logic Board since the cables must all be pulled out of the way, but sometimes a cable can get pinched beneath the Logic Board & can easily be overlooked by a tech.
Take the laptop back to have them make things right.
