When I try to import a VCF file into Outlook it either goes straight to contacts (if I just try to open it) or it will open in an email message (If I Ctrl-Click and say open with Outlook). I have tried dragging and dropping into outlook with the Contacts Windows Open (as one post suggested) but that doesn't work either.
Any suggestions on how to get this into Outlook (Microsoft 365 Subscription)

You need to drag on top of the Contacts category in the Outlook accounts column. For example:
The VCF file can be dragged on top of Contacts. When dropped, you should get an import window similar to:
Press Import. That should import all the items in the VCF file.
Please note, if you have thousands of contacts, the import will take a long time.
