Using 70% Isopropyl Alcohol to Clean iPhone Camera Lenses

I recently bought an iPhone 16 Pro Max, which I have cleaned the camera lenses using 70% isopropyl alcohol for like 5 times already. I also wipe over the front camera during this process, but is it harmful to the lenses? I'm worried that this will damage the front and rear lenses and affect the quality of my photos due to the coating being damaged. I stopped it for now. Any help would be appreciated.

The front surfaces your cleaning are actually a sapphire crystal protective covering. The surface is mult-coated and extremely durable.

Always try to blow away dust or any loose particles before rubbing the glass surfaces. This helps remove any debris that might scratch the surface. While sapphire is extremely hard, sand and other materials that contain silica may scratch the coatings or glass surfaces.

Cleaning with your alcohol solution is fine. A quality lens cleaning solution is fine as well. Use liquid solutions sparingly and always apply liquid to your microfiber cloth and not directly on your glass surfaces.
