Missing documents from TextEdit app on MacBook Pro

TextEdit (within iCloud) swallowed a bunch of folders from iCloud and they no longer appear when I search for them.


On my MacBook Pro I discovered this problem. I’ve now moved them out of the TextEdit subfolder and back into iCloud route. Extremely worrying and frustrating. I thought I’d lost important data!
