My Apple Watch 6 intermittently notify me of incoming text messages

Everybody having this issue should let Apple know directly about it by using the Feedback link, as this is the only way to reach them. Apple does not follow these user to user communities.

I know this is of absolutely no help, but just know that I am also having this issue and I feel your frustration!!! I have been trying for over a year, not only find a fix, but to wrap my mind around why it is so inconsistent.

Too many times I'll check my phone to see I've had an unknown text from XX minutes ago that I never knew about. Yes, I have all the notification setting is turned on, even repeat 10 times!!!

Any other app notification comes through no issue, but text message.....HAhaha nope!!!!

For a little while I thought I had it dialed in properly, but ever since the last update it's reverted back to it's intermittent BS.

I have changed every setting back and forth over and over to see what triggers this to not respond constantly, and I'm about to throw the thing in the river and go back to android.

Every Apple article has been absolutely zero help and trying to describe the issue to anybody you get the same **** answer...."are notifications turned on?" or "is it set to silent?"

IT SIMPLY DOES NOT RESPOND CONSISTENTLY TO TEXT NOTIFICATIONS AND IT'S INFURIATING!!!

iPhone 12 and the watch is SE 2nd gen. Both are, and always have been, up to date.
