IOS. 18.2, AW S8 and 9. iPhone 15 Pro.
screenshots don’t appear in Photos on AW or phone. Have restarted both. Reset network settings. Unpaired and paired AW. All worked fine until about the time I updated to 18.2.
right now Apple is investigating.

One obvious thing you haven't mentioned is iPhone, Watch app, My Watch tab, General, enable screen shots, on.

I had to force restart both devices, after that the screenshots synced again.
This only happened after the iOS 18.2 and watchOS 11.2 updates.
You should also report this directly to Apple:

Thanks. That was one of the numerous things I (and the Apple person checked. It was enabled). Even tried turning it off and back on.
The same issue occurs on both my watches, a S8 and a S9. Other things e. g., heart rate, oxygen, changing watch faces, texts seem to sync fine on the GPS and the cellular watch. Photos on my iPhone show up on watch. But not in the other direction.
the next option is to restore the phone.
Thanks that’s what I was thinking. Since the issue is happening with two watches connected to the same phone, the phone is probably the culprit.
Since I have auto updates turned on, that’s about the time I saw this issue. But I installed 18.3 about that time.
screenshots don’t show up in Photos on the watch Recents album. I have to think about that.
Well, I’ve tried all these tactics, and screenshots will sync once after restarting watch - but that’s it.
That’s helpful. If it’s a Watch OS11.2 issue, I shouldn’t have to restore my iPhone.
