How do I configure my iPhone/iPad to be able to share media from my desktop Mac?

Hi. The online instructions Apple provides to enable media sharing under iOS are not correct for iOS 18 (or iPadOS 18, for that matter). How do I configure my phone/pad to be able to share media from my desktop Mac (running MacOS 15.1.1)?

Yes. The instructions refer to a setting (“To see a video library, go to Settings > TV > iTunes Videos”) that doesn’t exist in iOS 18.
