Group containers and Containers taking large storage space

Hi, I have a 1TB but it's running out of space.

Upon some research, I found two folders taking up large disk space:

-Group containers 600GB

-Containers 300GB

Would much appreciate how I can efficiently diagnose where and how to free up some disk storage.

Many thanks!

Hard to tell. Containers and Group Containers are places where sandboxed apps store user data, caches, logs, support files, preferences and other data.

One thing, if you are using MS Outlook all your mail is stored in a folder deep in Group Containers and (so far) there is no way to relocate it.

What apps are you using that could potentially be storing a lot of data?
