Can't sync audible titles to my Apple Watch and iPhone

It is not possible to sync any audible title on iphone 16 with Apple Watch 10. There is no sync button on iphone or watch to do this and no matter how many times both iphone and Apple watch are rebooted or how many times the audible app is deleted and reinstalled on both phone and watch no book is downloaded to the watch despite there being a large capacity of storage available on the apple watch
