An APK file is an Android Package Kit file. Macs are not Android devices, and they don't come with anything like the Windows Subsystem for Android. So you cannot download and play Android games on your Mac – unless there is a third-party Android emulator application for the Mac that you could use to run these games.
I am not familiar with what Android emulators are, or are not, available.
Apple Silicon Macs have the ability to run iPhone and iPad apps, if the developers permit it. You can find these apps in the App Store.
There is also the Apple Arcade subscription service, where you get access to many games for about $7 per month. The games are typically available for iPhones, iPads, and Macs and a subscription lets you download and run these games on any of your devices. Most App Store games are loaded with "in-app purchases" that cost real money … but the Apple Arcade games are not, making your cost more predictable.
