The Apple Podcast app is essentially useless since the latest upgrade. Anyone else have this problem? If there a fix?

I’ve never used the Apple Podcast app so I wouldn’t know whether it is useful or useless, so all I can say is try pocket casts.

PocketCasts. It's excellent. I've never had an issue with it.
I experienced podcast difficulties several updates ago but not since. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app
