Please fix the issue in the question linked below. Super annoying. Cannot see if it's going to be sunny or cloudy when it is windy all day. Can only see wind symbols. If there is a way to fix this with a setting please let me know.

The reason it shows windy: It’s the most important thing to know. If it wasn’t windy it would show whatever else was important, which would probably be cloud cover.
However, most built in Apple apps are fairly basic, to encourage developers to create more advance apps. Look for a 3rd party weather app that has the features you want. I’m very happy with WeatherBug, a friend likes Carrot, but there are many more.

Thank you! I don't see how that is fixing the issue unfortunately, as you can see here it's just showing windy conditions under weather conditions. It would be great to be able to see if it's sunny/cloudy/raining especially on the main overview. As you can see below it is not possible unfortunately. I don't see any setting that changes this.
Thank you, appreciate the response! I like the apple weather app a lot, it just this part that I find strange. A setting to allow the user to choose if with or cloud cover is most important to show or perhaps a way to show both would be helpful. In a location that has a lot of wind for periods of the year it is a bit strange to not be able to determine the cloud cover at a quick glance. I don’t see a way to determine the cloud cover through any of the options in the drop down menu, the weather conditions tab only shows wind on windy days so if it’s windy for 7 days straight it’s seems it’s not straight forward to determine the cloud cover. Seems it could be a pretty simple feature to implement. Many thanks for your help will check out the other apps.
There is no issue to fix. You can choose what you want displayed with the dropdown in the upper right:
