migration assistant app for macOS Sequoia 15.1

I just received my new Macbook Air. In order to migrate my data from a windows PC, it tells me to use the Microsoft Assistant app for macOS Sequoia 15.1. There does not seem to be such an app. What should I use?

Anyone have any luck with this migration? My MacBook is running Sequoia 15.1 and the Assistant 3 doesn't work.

Hello,

I am also in the same situation; after receiving my Mac air I would like to transfer my data from my PC. My Mac is under Sequoia, however the Migration Assistant installation on the Apple site does not mention the latest version of Sequoia 15.2. The site only mentions the Sonoma 14.3.1 version and later versions. How to do it!!

Use Migration Assistant to connect your computers

Find out which macOS your Mac is using, then follow the appropriate steps.

If your Mac is using macOS Sonoma 14.4 or later

  1. On your PC, download and install Windows Migration Assistant 3. Get this version only if your Mac is using macOS Sonoma 14.4 or later.
  2. If it isn't, follow the steps for macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 or earlier, which requires an earlier version of Windows Migration Assistant.
