Disabling the 'Turn on Reactions' prompt when camera turns on

Is it possible to disable the prompt that says '<application> has turned off Reaction effects. Click <camera icon> and select Reactions to add more impact to your gestures'?

Each time my camera turns on, it prompts me to turn Reactions back on, which I don't want to do.

Turning Reactions on doesn't seem to work either, as the popup still appears even if I have Reactions enabled.

This seems to only happen with Microsoft Teams (tested also with an online webcam), but I would expect not to be notified if it chooses to disable it.

I'm using a MacBook Pro with Sequoia 15.2, tested with Microsoft Teams 24335.204.3298.2649 and webcamtoy on Safari.

Just updated the OS to Sonoma and now this is an annoying part of my day - every call I get the "turn on reactions" pop up. 😡

I don't want stuff shoved in my face - this is not how you build a happy user base.

And, by the holy teapot, allow us to TURN IT OFF!

Agreed, this is an annoyance. I have about 30 virtual appointments in a 7 hour window and every second counts. I do not need Apple interjecting some annoying unprofessional feature.

Wait, what "little green menu extra"? I've tried expanding the camera menu and command-dragging the line that says "Reactions", but nothing drags. Where are you talking about doing this? I would love for this to work. I will never use the reactions.

This has been infuriating me for months, but finally fixed it (at least for now) by turning reactions on, turning them off, then rebooting. We'll see if this sticks...

It would be nice if Apple spent a little of their $56 BILLION cash pile on some QA...

This doesn't work, you can drag but trash disappears as does Finder

System Settings > Notifications > Facetime > turn off didn't work, but System Settings > Notifications > Facetime > None worked. (leaving it turn on)
