Will a keyboard protector cause any proplems to the Screen the the new apple MacBook Pro 4m 16 inch?

I'm seeing post commit back 2019 that silicone can cause problems.

Whats the best way to protect from spills?

What is your experience with keyboard covers and palm pads on MacBooks? I have read mixed opinions on keyboard covers and palm pads that range from they are okay to comments that they will surely damage your MacBook's screen if not removed before closing the lid. My keyboard pad has been on my MacBook for 3 years, never removed, along with my DIY palm pads. They both leave smudged images on the screen that I clean off periodically, but there is no apparent damage to the screen. What is your experience? Has a keyboard cover or palm pad harmed your MacBook screen? I'm not looking for opinions, only factual experience with keyboard covers and palm pads.

Do MacBook Pro M3 keyboard protector cause damaged to the screen? Hello. I'm about to buy a new MacBook Pro M3 Max. I'm curious about keyboard protectors and screen protectors. I see that a lot of people apply a screen protector to their Mac's and they use a keyboard silicone protector... but I've read mixed reviews. My question is: do these protectors cause any harm to the equipment? For example, do keyboard protectors cause damage to the screen? And screen protectors? Do they also harm the screen in any way? Thank you.

Do not use keyboard covers on your MacBook Pro. Such covers may cause damage and they may interfere with computer cooling.
