Encrypted APFS external drive won't mount
I have an external drive that is encrypted and in APFS format. Today while I was using it, somehow it became very slow. I suspect this is due to the encryption so I right clicked on the drive and selected decrypt. Then after some time the drive stopped responding and disappeared in finder. I went to disk utility and try to mount it manually but nothing happened. Tried restarting my mac / boot in recovery mode, but this drive still don't mount. And more strangely the stored password in keychain seemed lost as during one of my attempts a password prompt pops out. I also tried first aid but it just thrown out some errors. What shall I do now? The disk is a WD Red 8T. Before today nothing unusual happened, and the disk was in good condition, no SMART warning etc.
