AirPod pros stuck on low volume
Was listening to music when Siri asked if I wanted to hear long text. Replied “no” after which pods remained on low volume.
Tried changing volume on phone and pod - no effect
Took them out, put in case - still low volume when used.
Other users reported similar issue - although did not say if Siri was involved. They fixed by re-pairing with phone.
I resolved by accessing Siri with AirPods- don’t have to ask anything, just start a Siri conversation by long press (or whatever you have set up) and then close conversation. Volume back to normal.
Seems like there is a race condition where the Siri flag in the firmware doesn’t reset if you respond to quickly to Siri.
