Switching between Apple Music accounts on a shared device

this is so silly that is so freaking complicated. If the Spotify suggestion algorithm didn’t suck i would just do that because apple makes this so much more difficult than need be.

I just went through all the trouble of setting up a family account and iCloud email for my kid so their music doesnt affect my algorithm, you know. I would like to know if i can just switch between her and my account on my phone/ipad because I’m not buying a toddler a device. Or did i just waste a whole morning on what should be a simple task. Smh apple do better!

See also Authorization vs. association - Apple Community. Swapping accounts for Apple Music or redownloading past purchases locks the device to the new account for 90 days. Don't test this process thinking you'll be easily able to swap back.

iPhones and iPads are single user devices. There is no method to switch accounts without wiping the device.
