iPhone 12 Pro iOS 18.1.1 (22B91) photo search is not working correctly

The recent attempt to simplify Photos has clearly backfired due to insufficient testing and lack of foresight. Instead of enhancing user experience, it has created widespread confusion and frustration. On top of it, the search functionality, which previously worked flawlessly, is now severely compromised. For instance, I have hundreds of insect photos in my library, yet a search for “insect” or “bug” only returns six results. This is a fundamental failure in functionality that should have been caught in basic testing.

Such a glaring oversight reflects poorly on the entire team responsible - designers, architects, developers, testers, and UX experts alike. This level of incompetence is unacceptable for a company of Apple’s calibre and reputation. A thorough review of this process and accountability is urgently needed.
