I have a very strange problem. I worked on my iMac 27 (catalina) safe the skechup file on my desktop in my folder. After closed the program and now the Deskop folder has turned into a text document. How can I get it back to the folder? and for this, desktop it is not possible to save the files and desktop empty.

You could try force-quiting the Finder and if that doesn't work, reboot the Mac.
Then report back!
