Editing texts with the native photo app is buggy since 18.0. I use an iPhone 13Pro with iOS 18.2 and can’t change the text style and text color anymore since the dialogue just closes or moves to an outer position where you can’t select anything. This is unacceptable. I find Apple lately to be the worst products out there and yet we still buy them!

I suggest you leave out any general ranting about Apple. Even if it makes you feel better (which I doubt,) it will not help here or with Apple.
I have the exact same issue on my 14+ and my wife’s 15+ , and I fully understand the negative sentiment that was expressed. When you pay a premium for Apple devices… dependable simple features shouldn’t regress between OS versions.

Not sure about “editing texts” in the question. On iPhone 16 Pro, iOS 18.2 I can access Markup and add text to a picture or screenshot. The option to change font and size are available. Love the Markup tool in the Photos app and use it often, and recently found new tools have been added - swipe right to left to see crayon, pen and wash brush.
This is simply not acceptable for Apple products. I am on an iPhone 13 mini with iOS 18.0.1 and it really feels like a betrayal to me. I have never had such a negative experience with Apple products since this bug yet. Almost feels like an Android product

I am having this issue on iPhone 15. I downloaded 18.2 last night in hopes that it would fix it, but nothing changed.
