One month and 3 killed HDD

My MacBook is killing all external hard drives. At first, it recognizes the files but can’t access them – in one out of ten cases, it works immediately. Then it slows down so much that I can’t do anything, and the drives stop functioning entirely. Over the past month, it has ruined three external hard drives, making the data inaccessible. I’ve tried different cables, different brands, and everything else. The MacBook has become unreliable. Should I ditch it and switch to Windows?

Is anybody have the same problem?

You need to take your computer and those drives & cables to an Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined. You can try an Apple Store, but I think you will have better luck with an AASP since you are dealing with third party devices. This is something that needs to be seen first hand because there are multiple possibilities making it too complicated for the back & forth on the forums and noticing the smallest thing may be pivotal in figuring it out.
