New iMac stuck on iCloud account set up

I migrated my old data from my old iMac to my new iMac yesterday, gave the password for iCloud and now it is stuck in the "Setting Up Account" mode. It has been there for 9 hours. There is no choice to exit from this process.

Please advise.

iMac 27″, macOS 11.7
