Text voice messages not working

For a while now my iMessage voice memos won’t work. I will talk and it will seem like it’s recording and then send perfectly fine but to my friends and also me when I click to listen to the audio message, all that is heard is static and muffly sounds but not me talking. My audio works in every other app and I can record video and audios just fine. It’s only on I message I have this issue😭 does anyone have this problem or any solution?
