Issue forwarding apple emails

So when signing up for an app, you have the option to sign up with apple ID. I learned this creates a temporary email address to register for the site and when emails are sent to that address, they are meant to forward to your personal email. I am getting emails sent to verify myself from a TikTok account I signed up with using my apple ID, and they are not forwarding to my email. I went into setting and found the temp email linked to my TikTok, and there's a box checked that says forward to (my personal email). I am not getting any of the verification emails despite this. Any way to fix this? It's very frustrating and I can't unlink the email because I can't recieve any mail to do it with. Thanks!
