Headphones won't show up on my MacBook Air

I just got a new M2 and everything seems to be working great, but when I try to connect my sony ult wears to it, its not showing up. I've tried everything, from restarting the mac to updating the software on both the mac and my headphones plus making sure that the headphones are in pairing mode when trying to connect. I even made sure bluetooth discoverability is on and reset the bluetooth module, but its still not showing up. I dont know what I'm doing wrong, can somebody please help me fix this issue :(
