credit card number in the receipt




when I use Apple pay (using my local credit card) from Egypt , the credit card number in the receipt is not my card number ?? any one face this situation ?


i note in card details in the wallet there is physical card and this show my correct credit card number and there is Mastercard number which is always appear in the receipts which is not my card number, how to make the receipts show my correct credit card number.

Your bank uses a DPAN (Device Primary Account Number) and changes your account number, expiration date and security code number. This is one of the security features of Apple Pay.


You are only shown the last 4 digits to facilitate returns and refunds from merchants.

You give them the last 4 numbers of the DPAN account number. That is the number shown on the receipt.

How to find the Apple Pay card number of a payment card on your iPhone


  1. On your iPhone, open the Wallet app.
  2. Tap the card that you used to make the purchase.
  3. Tap the More button then tap Card Number.


On this screen, you can see the last four digits of the Apple Pay card number for your payment card.
