Error while creating a bootable USB

/Volumes/MyVolume is not a valid volume mount point.

sonusharma@Sonus-MacBook-Air ~ %   sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Ventura.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume/Volumes/My Volume  

createinstallmedia: unrecognized option `--volume/Volumes/My'

Usage: createinstallmedia --volume <path to volume to convert>


Arguments

--volume, A path to a volume that can be unmounted and erased to create the install media.

--nointeraction, Erase the disk pointed to by volume without prompting for confirmation.

--downloadassets, Download on-demand assets that may be required for installation.


Example: createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled

Erase your USB stick and give is the exact name MyVolume with no spaces. Then copy & paste the command from the Apple article:

Create a bootable installer for macOS - Apple Support


If you put spaces or special characters in the name of the USB stick, then it makes things very complicated if you are not familiar with the command line.


Besides, the name of the USB stick will be changed once the command completes creating the USB installer so there is no reason to deviate from the Apple instructions.
