Apple Watch screen going black but still working

Watch screen goes randomly black and watch is perfectly working underneath. The only way to reactivate screen is b taking watch off and then afterwards screen works again.

Did you already try to erase the watch and pair it again, setting up as a new device instead of using the latest backup?

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support


Before you do that, try force restarting the watch, in case it is just a glitch.

To force restart your watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.
