Safari missing from iPhone home screen this morning.
I checked the old question, where the prevailing answer besides looking around on the various pages and groupings on the home screen was go to Settings>General>Restrictions. I did the latter except there is no Restrictions in my General tab. So I did the former, which was looking around on my home screen, and found it in some grouping I never would have put Safari. I leave Safari freestanding on the first page of my home screen.
Since I solved the problem, why am I here? Three reasons:
(1) Why is there no Restrictions tab in Settings>General anymore (I have the next most recent update on my iPhone)?
(2) Why has no one updated this information if Restrictions is not usable anymore? Apple, where are you? What do we get for your trillion dollar capitalization??
(3) Why does a machine, on its own, move a major app from one part of the home screen to another without the intervention of the human in control of it? Since this has happened in the pre-AI past, I imagine there should be some other explanation.
