Apple Watch SE turning on by itself

Apple Watch SE 0 11.2 OS

So I thought I had an issue with my battery as every time I turned my watch on it either wouldn't turn on as it was totally drained or the battery was super low... I know why now. Since I updated the software to OS 11 my watch is turning itself on. So I'll charge it, turn it off ready for my next wear, I leave the house or sleep and by the time I next pick it up, it's been on and drained itself. I left it on the shelf and physically saw it turn itself on...so it's either haunted... or something is up. Anyone else had similar? Especially since the update.

Did you try to force restart your watch by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?

If this does not work, unpairing the watch would be the next step. To rule out defective data from the backup, set it up as a new device.

Well ever since this update the buttons no longer do what they used to… I used to be able to turn it off by holding down the rubber button on the side… That no longer works. The only way I can turn it off is to go into settings and click all the way through to shut down. So holding down those two buttons no longer forces the restart either. It’s honestly like it became possessed with this new update. It’s no longer my watch.
