Continuity Camera Not Working on iPad Pro M1

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with Continuity Camera on my iPad Pro M1. While my iPhone 15 Pro Max works perfectly as expected, appearing as a webcam in FaceTime, Photo Booth, and other apps, my iPad Pro M1 doesn’t show up in the list of available cameras.

I’ve tried connecting both via Wi-Fi and using a cable, but it doesn’t make a difference for the iPad. In both cases, I can take photos with the Finder using the iPad, so the connection seems to be working fine. All other Continuity features are functioning as expected—I can use the iPad as a monitor, I can transfer photos, etc. However, Continuity Camera specifically doesn’t work on the iPad.

The settings are identical on all devices—Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Apple ID, AirPlay and Handoff are all enabled and configured the same way. Additionally, all devices (MacBook Pro M1, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad Pro M1 12.9) are running the latest versions of their respective operating systems. I’ve also restarted all devices multiple times, but the issue persists.

It seems like this could be a software issue specific to the iPad Pro M1, as the feature itself (Continuity Camera) works flawlessly with my iPhone. I’d appreciate it if this could be looked into and addressed in a future update.

Thank you for your attention and help!
