Multi-Display issues after macOS Sequoia 15.2 update with MacBook Pro

Hello everyone,

Before the 15.2 update, I was using a setup with three displays: my MacBook’s built-in display, one external monitor via USB-C, and another external monitor via HDMI. Everything worked perfectly.

However, after updating to 15.2, I’ve encountered a frustrating issue. When I connect a monitor via HDMI, the USB-C-connected display freezes and becomes unusable. It seems like the system can no longer support this setup and is now limited to just two displays.

I find it hard to understand how such a crucial feature could be affected in an update without any warning or resolution. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I hope Apple addresses this problem in an upcoming update.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences.

I was able to fix this issue by running a DisplayLink End-User Cleaner and reinstalling DisplayLink Manager 1.11. However, the next time I upgraded to 15.3.1, I had to do this again.

I am on a MacBook Air M3. I hope this helps.

I'm late to the party but have just updated to macOS Sequoia 15.3 and now my second apple display do=es NOT show or can be detected and worse than that my mouse is so painful to use. I can't actually use my machine now. It seems, this is a know problem and NO unplugging isn't working. Can enyone help.

Its been a problem for people for a while now so have there been any solutions?

My first time here.

Thanks
