Unauthorized $500 Apple charge on bank statement

I have a $500 charge on my bank through apple that i did not make. Some one from apple texted me about my account and went over service problem. next thing i know im charged $500 on my bank statement for apple purchase that i did not make. i reported to papal who referred me back to apple.

Sounds like the text you received may not have actually been from Apple and you could have been scammed by phishing.

Recognize and avoid social engineering schemes including phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support

What is the exact description of the charge you see on your bank statement?
What information was provided in the Text Message?
Did any part of the text message involve accepting an Apple Cash request?
