My iPhone is not working for data roaming in Belgium

My data is not roaming in Belgium. I have unlimited Vodafone package and I have been on the phone troubleshooting. It was only after I was advised to remove the sim and use another phone, it suddenly worked on the other phone. My iPhone simply won’t let me use my data internationally. I think it’s time to finally say goodbye to Apple. Too many problems with their hardware recently is not a good thing. I am here in Belgium and will have to go and buy a Samsung just so I can have a good Christmas with internet.

Thank you for this. I am with Vodafone and their technical team have spent the best part of 4 hours troubleshooting with my phone. At some point I gave the tech team ( yeah I know I shouldn’t have but at this point I was desperate) access to run a diagnostics etc. Finally I was told to insert the sim into another phone and everything worked perfectly, roaming, data, text, phone calls et al. The problem is not the network as the sim works perfectly in another phone. It’s the phone. Apple for some reason have blocked my data roaming capability with their systems.
