Kernel panic: AMDRadeonAccelerator driver returns false

When awaking, it would freeze, or when rebooting I will see the "your computer was restarted because of a problem" report warning.

MacBook Pro 15-in 2019, with dual Graphics: integrated Intel and Discrete AMD

Macos: 15.2

My battery is under service recommended and a bit swell, but wondering if it would case a graphic card issue. I went genius bar for a diagnosis, except for battery, all passed the test.

After restore and time machine data transfer, the issue is still there. I am wondering if there are also issues with the logic board. Have anyone here any suggestions? Thanks!

Problem details and system configuration:

That looks very much like graphics card failure. That generally requires a mainboard replacement.

If your battery is swelling as well, you need to either to fix that battery sooner, not later, as swelling can occur in spurts, and can cause the trackpad to fracture and other bad things. Or get rid of it.

I would say a Prudent person would opt to REPLACE, not that repair that computer.

With the shiny new Apple-silicon MacBooks (any model with MORE than 8GB RAM, even the Air) able to runs circles around your model, and not heat up in the process, the choice is more clear than ever.
