How to delete a legacy extension from Epson?

how to delete a legacy extension from Epson? I no longer have that printer.

Got a warning upon start up that the old, legacy Seiko Epsom printer driver is no longer supported, and may cause problems. I want to delete it. Can't find drivers in printer app or Utilities folder, or just in Applications folder.

There is an app called Find Any File that can be configured to run and look in all directories, including ones that Spotlight does not search, and find all files that have the string 'epson" embedded in their name. You can also have it find any file with "epson"embedded in its contents. You can then inspect what it find and delete them if you are certain they are not needed for anything else. Be sure to run it with administrator privileges. I used it for something like this to remove all traces of Western Digital drive utility software that someone had installed on their Mac and wanted completely removed. I searched for everything that contained "western," "digital," and "WD." Many false hits but those were easy to bypass.

Thanks for responding. I think what I did will work. Wasn't sure if I was to look in the "locations" under Gale's iMac or Macintosh HD. Turns out Gale's iMac worked. Then within that had to choose and finally found the Library that had all the apps in it. All others were empty.

Found Epson USB PrintClass.kext. Deleted that. I see there are some other things labeled Epson in the Printer folder. Left those alone for now. Haven't seen any evidence of the printer driver I am using for my new HP Smart Tank 5101.

Again. Thanks for helping.
