Maximum safe elevation height for correct use iphone models

What is the maximum usage altitude for an iPhone to proper use? What is the minimum air pressure on which iPhone can work correctly and is not dangerous for it (guarantee)

Apple recommends use below 10,000 ft. Airplane cabins are pressurized to the equivalent of 10,000.


The specs below are for recent iPhones as far back as iPhone X. I didn’t research it any further.


Environmental Requirements 

  • Operating ambient temperature: 32° to 95° F (0° to 35° C)
  • Nonoperating temperature: −4° to 113° F (−20° to 45° C)
  • Relative humidity: 5% to 95% noncondensing
  • Operating altitude: tested up to 10,000 feet (3000 m)
