Persistent Issue with Screen Resolution While Using Screen Sharing

Hello,

I am experiencing recurring issues with my screen resolution when using Screen Sharing to connect my M series Macs over Thunderbolt/LAN.

  1. Connection Details: I am setting "High Performance" as my preferred Screen Sharing Type, with "1 Virtual Display" selected for the Display Type.
  2. The Problem: Each time I connect or reconnect, my screen resolution defaults to 1920x1080, which is not the desired resolution. The 'Dynamic Resolution' does not seem to have any effect on the issue.
  3. Current Solution: I can temporarily resolve this issue by executing certain steps on the remote machine:
    1. Navigating to Settings and then Displays
    2. Changing the resolution from 1920 x 1080 (Default) to 1920 x 1080 (low resolution)
    3. Toggling 'Dynamic Resolution' on.
  4. Issue Repetition: Unfortunately, this resolution only works until the next connection or reconnection occurs. This makes the workaround unsuitable for daily usage.

This problem has been present for quite some time now and it can be quite frustrating for regular connections. Has this bug been reported to Apple? I would appreciate any help or suggestions on this matter.

Thank you.
