Find My: Set Displayed Email

We are fellow users on here so asking us not to suggest something you don’t want suggested is a bit rude. People are volunteering to help you in any way possible. If what they suggest does not help you or isn’t relevant you can simply respond that suggestion does not help. For the most part attempts to help will be trial and error unless it is a known issue and a firm “fix” has been determined so people can give you that fix immediately.

As far as how your question is presented…I want to make sure I am understanding you correctly. You are trying to send your location via Find My to people that are not part of your “Family” (the people whose devices you can see in Find My)? Or I am just not understanding what you are describing. Any way you can share a screenshot of what someone is receiving when you send your location (marking out any personal info of course). I honestly have never had anyone receive my email when sending location nor can I see anywhere in the settings for Find My to even do that (in the app or in the Settings for iPhone).

Another question…which email is set as your default email? If email 3 is the default then that could explain why it is the email sent to someone not in your contacts.

When you share your location with a family member through Apple's Find My app, the family member only sees your name and location. They do not have access to your Apple ID, trusted phone numbers, or any associated email IDs and phone numbers. The primary focus is on providing location information without exposing personal account details.
