I Am tryin to sin in in my apple account after my phone was crashed and I am not getting the 2 factor authentication code, when I tried getting a text message instead, it is sayin verification failed, please enter a valid phone number. called apple and they make me go IFORGOT.APPLE.COM, but still no result yet to access my account. what can I do/

If you are required to use Account Recovery on the iforgot website, there can be a significant delay depending on the information that you can provide to verify your identity. After you start Account Recovery, you should receive an email within 72 hours that will tell how much longer you need to wait.

With two factor authentication, the password is reset immediately if you have another Trusted Device to receive the verification code or it the Trusted Phone number that you had entered on your account can receive the text message. Not sure what Trusted Phone number you used when it was set up.
