why can't I upload a folder to Icloud?

Seems like a reasonable task to want to accomplish on the iCloud.

my searches say no way.

anyone?

Folder upload using a web browser is not supported. Drag the folder into your iCloud Drive on your Mac or upload the documents only into a new folder that you create.
