Cannot reinstall macOS on my 2018 MacBook Pro 13” after erasing

I have erased the disk from my MacBook and am now trying to reinstall macOS on my MacBook. I keep getting an error message when trying to do the internet recovery. I’ve tried restarting it completely and starting the process over through internet recovery and I continue to get the same message.

Thank you for the followup reply.

Use Ethernet:

This is the adapter to use with your Mac: Belkin USB C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - Apple

Or...

Try this later on. If you are connected to a public LAN, then you may be limited to network usage.

Thank you for the screenshot.

Reinstalling the macOS:

Looking on the top-right corner of your screen, see if you can connect to your Wi-Fi network. You are unable to connect to Apple's server. As it reads: "The recovery server could not be contacted."
