Old iPad not playing new game

I dug out my 12 year old iPad Air to play a new game (cats and soup- don’t judge) because it’s killing my phone battery. The iPad won’t load the game beyond the loading screen it just shuts down. Is it because it is too old. Feels strange to buy a new iPad because I’m obsessed with one game.

A game on my iPad Air 2013 won't launch any more. My grandfather is a really big fan of a game on the iPad called bubble Shooter Classic Puzzle on his iPad Air 2013. The game was recently updated and it no longer opens. Upon pressing it the screen goes a light yellow for a moment then just crashes back to the home screen. He said he's not bothered about it but I know he really misses it. He's very stubborn so he refuses the idea of getting a newer iPad. I need help with an old game on my old iPad I have an old iPad (that I bought) and it still works terrific. I like playing Fishdom 3 Collector's Edition on it, that I bought ages ago. Well, something went wrong with the game and I had to download it again and reinstall. But this time when it asks me if I already purchased it, I clicked on that button and nothing happens. In other times when I had to download and reinstall when I clicked on that button that I already purchased, I was able to continue to play the game. Not this time it seems locked up. Who do i contact regarding an apps suitability for device On the App store, the game Kiss of War, from Tap 4 Fun (Hong Kong), lists compatibility for ipad 9th generation, it lists devices and ios required. Since moving the game from my older ipad pro to the new ipad 9th gen, the game quits constantly. KOW support have informed me the only way to run it on an ipad 9th gen is in low graphics mode and as the only app on the ipad, furthermore, listing a device as compatible does not mean it will work fully, 'it does not mean it will not freeze or quit'. Personally this would not be how i deem 'compatible' to mean, i suspect for most users we would expect the game to work, not quit out every 5-7minutes. I would suggest that the list of devices on the page is vetted and some updates placed on the page that state the truth that the game is so RAM heavy, running on not fully optimized servers (I have this in chat from their support and can share), that it will not run smoothly, as currently it feels the list of so called compatible devices is not an accurate reflection and miss-leading.

It could well be, then, that despite the listed supported versions of iOS and iPadOS the app has either been updated and no longer supports the version of iPadOS on your iPad Air, or the reverse is true, it's never been properly updated to be actually compatible. You can try contacting the app developer and see if they can help.

Have you tried rebooting the iPad? If that doesn't help, try removing the app and downloading it again.

Thank you! Yes. I rebooted, uninstalled and reinstalled, downloaded latest update , rebooted again for good measure.
