I add photos (screen captures mostly) to my Mac Studio Photos application by dragging them onto the “Imports” Album icon.
They do’t show up anywhere on my iPhone iOS 18.1.
I am synched through iCloud and have no problems viewing pictures taken by iPhone on all devices on my account.
How do I view "Import" pictures on my iPhone?

What macOS are you using with your Mac Studio? What iOS are you using on your iPhone? Do you have "Optimize Storage" turned on for either device? How long are you waiting for the pictures to appear? It sometimes takes a while, especially if the two devices are open and running apps.
Import is just a list of pictures that have gone through the Import process. I might choose to create a new Album, name it appropriately, and then drag the pictures to it. That album should appear on your phone. "Dragging" has limited support-- using File>Import is often preferred.
On your Mac, when you look at Library sorted by "Oldest Date Added," do you see your imported pictures, there?
