Overlapping events in iCalendar

Hi!

When somebody invited me to a long event, I am unable to choose any other events during that day because they appear “under” it, so only the long event can be chosen. It looks like this:

How do I fix this without asking the original inviter to change their invitation?

Calander invites won’t go away I’ve seen multiple posts where people are experiencing an inability to delete a calendar invite. Specifically, one tries to accept/reject a calendar invite but then the invite reappears. I tried suggestions that others mentioned and none worked. The one that worked for me is to go to the actual invite posted on my calendar. I long tapped the invite and some options appeared. I tried the “cut” feature and it successfully removed the invite entirely from my calendar “inbox”. I hope this helps others.

Subscribed calendar event overlapping issue on MacBook Pro On macOS Sequoia 15.2, I have an 8-hour event on my iCloud calendar and a 1-hour event from a subscribed gmail calendar, both in the calendar app's one-day display view. The 8-hour event completely overlaps the 1-hour event, and I can't find a way to bring the 1-hour event forward, so it can be fully seen or edited. I don't see this issue on iPhone iOS 18.2.1, which allows the overlapped event to be tapped on and brought forward; it appears to happen only on macOS 15.2. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How to set up and manage repeating events in Apple Calendar? Dear Apple Support, I’ve noticed an issue with the repeating event settings in the Calendar app. When setting an event to repeat “daily” and “every ten days” simultaneously, the event repeats every day, making the “every ten days” option redundant, as it could cause the event to repeat twice after ten days. These options should be mutually exclusive: either “daily” (or weekly, etc.) or “every ten days” (or other intervals), but not both together. Please clarify or address this in a future update. This doesn't happen with me on 15.1.1. If I click on one of the "hidden" events it is selected and can be edited as expected.

You could create a new Calendar called, say "Dummy", move the 9AM meeting to it and then untick the Dummy calendar in the side bar, which will hide the 9AM meeting. Then you should be able to deal with the events under it.

I haven't got a permanent fix cos I can't replicate the problem
